Inflight & Simulator Training for Cabin Crews:

A flight attendant must know their aircraft type inside out. In an unlikely event, they should be prepared and confident to handle any situation by following standard and emergency procedures. At VIMS the Inflight & Simulator training is designed to be realistic and rigorous training that assures that the crew can perform and cope under pressure.

At VIMS we have some of the best training simulators for different airlines because we believe that failure is not an option. We have full-sized mockups of different aircraft types. We simulate the turbulence, crash landings, fires with real smoke, with exact replicas of emergency slides and doors. The students are trained to find their smoke hoods, fire extinguishers and flashlights and work together as a team to extinguish the fire.

There are lavatory fire and galley fire scenarios along with rejected takeoff, emergency landing, emergency ditching scenarios etc. These trainings are fun to go through as well as they show the crew how exactly would they fare in a real-life scenario. These drills manage to prepare the freshers and make them realize what their job is all about when it is related to safety.
