The Gallery on the Square is a retail art gallery In Danville, IN that promotes local artists of all mediums. We are a co-op gallery, so all of our artists help run the gallery. At any given time, 18-24 different artists are selling in the Gallery.
GOTS is unique compared to other galleries because in addition to fine arts, we are an artisan gallery. We have fine art, home decor, assorted cards and unique gifts made by local artists.
Our talented artists also offer art classes and workshops.

This course will develop further upon the basic principles of art, design, and the 5 basic elements shape with emphasis on mastering advanced art techniques.
Basic knowledge of shading and sketching is required for drawing, and ability to achieve the desired color and render using a selected painting medium is required for painting.
Lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on experimentation introduce the medium of oils. Working from museum masterpieces, still-life arrangements, or your favorite photos, explore basic painting techniques.
Through instructor guided exercises you’ll be introduced to alla prima methods that help develop concentration, improve decision making while exploring the fundamentals of color, composition and paint application.
