I am a certified, trained, experienced, and playful Art and Photography teacher of 19 years, and professional family photographer in Rochester of 17 years.
I make technical terms easy to understand in our fun, mindful learning environment. Learn the basics in addition to several artistic and creative techniques.
Students learn drawing techniques in many different mediums. These include but are not limited to pencil, charcoal, chalk and conte crayons on a variety of paper types.
Students will have fun discovering and exploring their artistic creativity while learning various drawing techniques. Exciting weekly art projects will introduce color theory, design principles, and the use of various artistic media.Â

We will explore in depth ways to achieve layouts as well as backgound paintings. We will develop a finished portfolio 4-8 final keyshots, Isometric top down location drawings, Prop pages, and Environment pages.
Participants refine and expand their drawing skills through studio practice in traditional media. Sessions focus on classic subject areas such as landscape, portrait, and figure.
