Drum lessons are open to all ages and levels, and for children ages five and up, but we also specialize in lessons for adults. For almost ten years, we have helped thousands on their musical journey.
Our talented, friendly, and qualified faculty can help you learn any style or genre of music, and lay the foundation for proper technique in the process. You will learn proper posture, several foundational beats, and how to go from there to adding exciting percussive details.
More advanced drum students learn to refine their technique and develop artistry and musicality. Our instructors know how to not only get you the skill and technique you need, but how to keep it fun and engaging while working on the music YOU love.
Welcome to Angeles Academy, where we offer the best quality piano lessons, voice lessons, violin lessons, guitar lessons and cello lessons in two beautiful in person locations on the Westside, as well as online or hybrid.
The physical locations are in the heart of Brentwood and the heart of Westwood, and provide easy access for students living in Beverly Hills, Century City, Westwood Village, Brentwood, Santa Monica, and Pacific Palisades.
Our one on one music lessons are open to all ages and levels. We generally start ages four and up, but also have a large group of adult students. In addition to training beginners, we work with intermediate and advanced students.
We can provide professional level coaching and college audition preparation. Many students of the Academy have gone on to attend schools like Juilliard, or have gone into professional careers on Broadway. For over ten years, we have helped thousands of students begin and continue their musical journey.

Our drum faculty teach various musical genres including rock, blues, funk, jazz, metal and more. Beginner students can start lessons with a drum pad and stick. Our drum lessons offer comprehensive training in sight-reading, rhythm, theory, musicianship, technique and ear training
