LTM welcomes drum students of any age and ability from absolute beginners to advanced levels. We welcome students as young as 4 years and also encourage adults to take up the challenge of learning, or improving their skills on the drums.
Playing the drums is known to be a great tool for relaxation and focusing. We find a great number of adults learning drums with us as a health benefit for their mental well being. Learning to play the drums is fun, come and try!

Karyn saw the need for professional instrumental music education and was inspired to create a music school to provide quality music programs to schools and accessible professional lessons in Studios for all ages.
Karyn was driven to create a music company that could provide professional music education to schools in South Australia, and to offer the many benefits of music to everyone.

Drums Lessons are offered by Southern Music for all ages and skills. Southern Music has been teaching private music lessons at its city studios since it was established in 1979.
Learning drums is a great skill to have! It allows you to understand how percussion structures and gives energy to music. The starting age for drumming lessons is 5 years old. Children love drumming as it is fun and interactive, and improves their motor-coordination skills.
Drums classes are offered by Guitar Village School of Music. The Drum is a member of the percussion group of music instruments, technically classified as the membranous.
Our drum students not only learn how to whack the tubs in time, we get right down to the nuts & bolts of techniques so you learn how to play correctly, efficiently & without injury!
