All drummers may bring in their favorite drum parts to learn in their lessons and theory is encouraged.
We also offer Percussion Lessons, which is a wonderful addition to any school band program, rock band, or worship band.
You do not have to purchase a drum kit to take lessons (though owning one at home will greatly benefit your lessons). Beginning students can learn with a drum pad and sticks for about $40. And we sell them at the studio! Choose a rubber or plastic practice pad. A plastic pad has more natural response but makes more sound.
Afraid of the noise You can purchase an electronic set and use headphones!
Students use our drum set at their lessons and do not have to bring anything except their drum sticks and a notebook.
We welcome and encourage students of all ages! Whether a student is a beginner or one who has already begun their lifelong relationship with music, we aim to help each individual develop their own understanding of music’s richness and expressive means.

Come ROCK OUT with one of are amazing drum teachers! And for the early beginner student (ages 4-7) we have an AWESOME Rock Band class where you get to play drums, guitar and piano
There are now a number of drum makers who are producing small size drum kits. Especially common now are electronic drum kits that can be found which are smaller and will work well with younger children
Percussion Lessons are offered by Quartertonez Music
Drums are an important instrument in many musical settings, and the ability to study and grow both skill and musicality as a drummer shouldn't be overlooked
Our drums teachers will make sure to use age appropriate technique and choose educational materials that will go along with the student’s way of learning and particular goals
