A Drum Lesson at Cedarstone School of Music is tailored to each individual student’s needs and wants.
In a typical lesson, you may see students working on core concepts including developing technique, reading skills, finding your own voice and creativity on the drums, working on snare drum rudimental studies and exploring different styles, such as – jazz (swing), basic rock, basic latin and basic funk.
Our Lead Team & our Instructors at Cedarstone are all focused on empowering our students to maximize their musical potential. We evaluate how each student interacts with music on a daily basis and then designs a plan to help them maximize those opportunities.
Providing education in a state of the art facility and giving opportunities to perform are just some of the many ways we help your student achieve their musical dreams.
Each week we drum, sing, dance, play rhythm instruments and begin to play music-based games. The Children’s Band 4-5yrs guides children toward developmentally appropriate music and movement activities, where they can begin to take charge, lead others and be musically creative
Drums Lessons are offered by American Music Academy
QMA’s drum students –as with all our students– love music. Be it rock, metal, jazz, funk, blues, or any number of different styles, they are dedicated to learning the rhythmic language of drumming
Drums Lessons are offered by Anthem School of Music
Drum lessons develop coordination, focus, and confidence – they’re also a great outlet for high energy or sports minded kids! We begin with the foundation and in no time, students find their own style and move into more advanced drumming
