Hey there, my name is AJ Crawshaw and I have been a successful musician and music teacher on the Kapiti Coast for twelve years.
Six years ago I opened a music school, which has been growing ever since, and our lessons now cover a growing range of instruments and styles. We are currently the largest provider of one on one lessons on the Kapiti Coast.
Currently we teach guitar, piano, keyboard, singing, drums, ukulele, bass guitar, flute, and band classes
Not only do students get expert tutoring on a weekly basis we also provide opportunities for our students to collaborate with each other to create a live performance. The show is then performed at a public venue. Groups include choir, guitar ensemble, percussion group and bands.Â
Like bass players, drummers are never short of a gig. Our drum students can work to our in-house programme
These classes provide an affordable option for learning an instrument in a group setting. Classes will run depending on interest and require a minimum of 3 students so bring a friend and join the fun!
Drums are the driving force in many styles of music. At our centre our experienced tutors will help you find your own unique style and journey with you as you learn to stop playing from your head and start playing what you feel.
We provide group lessons to children 5-12 years of age and private tuition for the advancing student 13 years and older.
