Nick has been playing the drums for over 20 years and has been teaching for over 10 years.
In 2012, he graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) with a BMus (Hons) in Music Performance. Later that year, he returned to ACM and was acknowledged as an ACM Approved Tutor.
In 2013, he started working with Rockschools, Towester as one of their main drum tutors, providing one to one lessons and mentoring to several bands. In September 2015, Nick became the peripatetic drum tutor at Stoke Park Secondary School. He left Rockschools in 2016 to concentrate on developing his growing and successful teaching business in Coventry.

In 2021, due to popular demand, Nick moved into his own teaching studio to accommodate even more students. This can be found on Bird Street, in Coventry. Sessions are conducted in a soundproof room equipped with a full drum kit and PA system. All equipment used is to a professional standard.

30 minute lesson = £17
45 minute lesson = £26
60 minute lesson = £34

Drum lessons at Drum Central are suitable for all. Whether you’re a youngster (or a not so youngster) taking your first steps in the world of drums or an experienced player looking for ways to expand your repertoire and get your chops to the next level.
Most tuition in schools takes place on standard drum kit and pupils may start from year 3. It may be more appropriate for lessons to be taken as a pair or individually but if resources allow, small group lessons are offered.
We offer drumming lessons for anyone, whether you want to learn how to read drumming theory or if you want to learn for fun. We have a range of teaching resources to suit your level and age, including an electric drum kit.
Our drum lessons are tailored to introduce beginners to basic drum rhythms and coordination as well as help students become more familiar with all parts of the drum kit.
Drums classes are offered by Newcastle School of Drums.We offers drum tuition to all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to highly advanced musicians and anyone in between.
