Drums

Nick has been playing the drums for over 20 years and has been teaching for over 10 years.

In 2012, he graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) with a BMus (Hons) in Music Performance. Later that year, he returned to ACM and was acknowledged as an ACM Approved Tutor.

In 2013, he started working with Rockschools, Towester as one of their main drum tutors, providing one to one lessons and mentoring to several bands. In September 2015, Nick became the peripatetic drum tutor at Stoke Park Secondary School. He left Rockschools in 2016 to concentrate on developing his growing and successful teaching business in Coventry.​

In 2021, due to popular demand, Nick moved into his own teaching studio to accommodate even more students. This can be found on Bird Street, in Coventry. Sessions are conducted in a soundproof room equipped with a full drum kit and PA system.  All equipment used is to a professional standard.

Lessons cost as follows:

30 minute lesson = £17

45 minute lesson = £26

60 minute lesson = £34

Topics covered range from, but not limited to Reading, Technique, Musical Development and Stylistic Awareness.

Nick aims to help each individual student achieve their goals with personalised worksheets and a variety of resources including books and DVDs.

All grades are available, the Rock School syllabus is recommended.
