Taal Institute of Music and Fine Aarts was established on 2nd May 2009. It has been founded by Mr. Mannish – an experienced and accomplished singer and an exponent of Hindustani Classical music belonging to a renowned classical gharana of Benaras. The Institute has been setup with the blessings of our spiritual guru Pandit Shrikantji Sharma “Balvyas”.
The drums lie at the core of understanding music – beats and rhythms. One of the oldest instruments and having evolved over time from its basic form to its current identity, learning the drums is a much sought after activity by the old and young, alike.
Beginners’ are given substantial attention from their teachers.Every movement is watched, coordinated and corrected instantly to achieve fast progress in a short duration. Homeworks and assignments are monitored.
The drum is a member of the percussion group of musical instruments.This is an Entry level foundation course for students who are entirely new to the field of Music.
At TMSB, the students undergo structured learning under the supervision of highly experienced drum faculty. The Drum program also stresses on the importance of students gaining first-hand access to some of the best equipment and techniques available.
Whether in cultures east or west, rhythm has and continues to play a primal (and vital) role in virtually any form of music evolved by humans.
