You do not need to purchase an entire drum set to start taking drum lessons, beginning students can learn with a drum pad and sticks. Students will use our drum set at their lesson and just need to bring their drum sticks and a notebook.
We also offer percussion lessons, which is a wonderful addition to any school band program, rock band, or worship band.
You do not have to purchase a drum kit to take lessons (though owning one at home will greatly benefit your lessons). Beginning students can learn with a drum pad and sticks for about $40.
And we sell them at the studio! Choose a rubber or plastic practice pad. A plastic pad has more natural response but makes more sound.

Drums Lessons are offered by NY Ensemble Classes. Our classes are taught by two instructors specialized in different instruments. Each ensemble is assigned to multiple teachers scheduled on rotation. This unique course design provides an enhanced and deeper learning experience.
We do make fundamentals the anchor of all of our lessons but we also make sure we give the students time to actually apply it to the drum set and learn about the fun of making music and playing drums
We have a large soundproofed drum room complete with drum kit and audio playback system for our students to play their hearts out! Our drum lessons and instructors teach rock, metal, Jazz, funk, blues and many other styles of percussion
Percussion Lessons are offered by Quartertonez Music
B2R drum students will acquire all of the skills necessary to be a successful drummer in a band. Lessons will focus on rhythm, coordination and stick techniques as well as complex skills such as four-way coordination and polyrhythms
