We are pleased to offer an exciting accredited training opportunity for SENCo’s in PVI Settings, working with children under five. This innovative programme has been constructed in collaboration with educators, training organisations, SEND professionals, setting SENCo’s and managers from the PVI Sector to ensure it is meaningful
Why attend?
The Early Years SENCo Award inspires SENCo’s from across the PVI sector, offering practitioners both theoretical and practical support in their role as coordinators of SEND (special educational needs and disabilities)
The aim of this award is to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding of SENCo practitioners to ensure that they are capable and confident to effectively support the children and families they work with.
A range of partners will offer information throughout the programme, to allow SENCOs to have a thorough understanding of the services and support available to them.
On successful completion of the course, participants will gain our ‘Early Years SENCo Award’ accredited with the Level 3 CACHE unit ‘Special Educational Needs Coordinator in Early Years Settings. In addition, practitioners will also be awarded 5 credits towards a level 4 CACHE qualification. There will also be further opportunity for those who wish, to progress to a higher professional diploma
