Since offering our first full-time programme in 1995, we have been dedicated to growing and developing the audio industry in Manitoba by providing a formal education that enables aspiring individuals to pursue their passion.
What began as part-time audio training hosted at Mid-Ocean Recording Studios in the early 90s, became the foundation for what would soon become MOSMA and our Audio in Media programme.
As the audio industry was undergoing transformative changes, we recognized the importance for specialized training that could prepare individuals for careers in this growing industry.
MOSMA serves to nurture talent, stimulate creativity, and provide an opportunity for you to turn your creativity into a sound career.
Our Mission
MOSMA is a place of higher learning. But to limit this definition to only a place where formal education exists would fall short of its essence.
MOSMA is a place that builds a community of educators, mentors, industry practicum partners, guest speakers, and creatives for the purpose of immersing our students in an environment which provides a formal, rich and diverse learning experience.
Do you a have a flair for storytelling and dream of catapulting your ideas into the world? If you have a techie side, love to write, are artistically inclined and dream of making your passion your purposeful work, this career is for YOU!
