It also contains the knowledge and skills required to work safely around a vehicle that may have had damage to its high energy/electrical system.
This qualification offers an introduction to this specialised industry sector which, in addition to complementing their current industry qualifications and experience, will enable them to continue to work safely within their role as a Maintenance and Repair Technician.
Course cost includes the supply of electric vehicle high voltage gloves and eye protection for each delegate. After the course, you will retain this PPE.

Theory lessons covering the required technology are classroom based, giving you the opportunity to take notes to aid your studies. Practical lessons take place in the motor vehicle workshops and give you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to pass the assessments.
This Level 1 Course is a competence-based scheme, with some examinations, covering all aspects of the repair and servicing of road vehicles.
Learners will have an interest in gaining the knowledge to work safely when carrying out repair activities on Electric/Hybrid vehicle high voltage systems.
