An option to complete the EAS class of registration without the endorsement is also on offer. The course includes safety training (an approved First aid course) and offers preparation for the theory exam required for this class of registration.
Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS) work ranges from repairing a household appliance to maintaining gaming machines. The workers with EAS endorsed to disconnect and reconnect class are also permitted to disconnect these appliances from permanent connection units.
Electrical workers who need to be assessed in a number of practical skills, revise the theory and complete First aid course, as set out by the EWRB as a partial requirement for Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (endorsed to disconnect and reconnect) class of registration. Candidate can opt for EAS class without the endorsement.
