Course Details

This is the starting point to train as an electrician, recharge your batteries by changing career or starting a new one.

This qualification provides the ideal introduction to those wanting a career as an electrician and will cover the essential skills needed to progress to City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation, which is what is needed if you want to work in the domestic electrical installation industry.

It will cover the wide range of electrical installation skills plus the essential electrical science, electrical theory and craft knowledge skills training needed to join the electrical industry. This is the first step into becoming a registered electrician.

Assessment is ongoing throughout the course, you will need to pass an assessment for each unit to achieve the qualification.
