This course trains and assesses in the operation of a scissor type lift (unrestricted height) and boom lift (below 11m height).
This course satisfies the SafeWork SA minimum training requirements expected for workers who operate EWPs in accordance with the person conducting a business or undertaking’s (PCBU) primary duty of care under the Work Health and Safety Act 2012.
This unit is a nationally accredited competency. On completion your details will be sent to the Elevated Work Platform Association (EWPA) who will issue your Yellow Card. Please keep in mind this endorsement expires every 5 years.
Course Outcomes
On completion of the course you will be able to:
Plan and prepare for operating an elevating work platform
Conduct work activities from elevating work platform
Carry out operator maintenance
Clean up
If successful you will receive a Statement of Attainment and an a wallet card which will identify whether you were assessed on Scissor lift or Boom lift.
