To develop some basic tools for emotional regulation

By the end of the course, you will have had opportunities to:

  • Gain a basic understanding of how the nervous system works, and ways in which it can be impacted by trauma

  • Develop confidence in recognising the different nervous system states

  • Try out some practical tools for emotional regulation

  • Gain a basic understanding of how nervous systems interact with each other, and how ‘co-regulation’ works

  • Explore how we can apply these understandings to our work and lives
