Our unique program fast-tracks newly-resettled immigrants, asylees and refugees, to employment commensurate with their skills and experience, or to continue with their post-secondary education. Riverside students achieve results in weeks that would take months, if not years, in a part-time class; our intensive six-week program is equivalent to one year in a part-time class.
Riverside Language Program provides services and supports to recently-arrived immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugee adults currently living in New York City.

Intensive English Program (IEP) includes daily practice of speaking, listening, and reading and writing, with a strong emphasis on conversation and pronunciation.
During this course, learners will participate in class discussions, do group work with classmates, practice pronunciation, learn reading and writing skills, and explore themes and topics in order to develop intercultural competence.
