Providing equality of treatment and opportunity is an important obligation placed on all employers. To ensure your organisation complies with its duties under the Equality Act 2010 and to avoid discrimination claims arising (and to give yourself the best defence if needed).

It is essential that your managers and staff are aware of what is required of them to ensure not only legal compliance but that the organisation is in the best possible position to prosper through the advantages that diversity brings.
 
Delegates will leave this course with the confidence to deal with equality issues that arise throughout the employment cycle including recruitment, promotions, managing disciplinary issues, grievances, performance, ill health, maternity and pregnancy and requests for flexible working.

The course is run by Sam Greenhalgh who is a Senior Associate at Birketts LLP and a specialist employment lawyer. As well as being a qualified and experienced solicitor, Sam is also a highly experienced trainer and has delivered many courses across the full spectrum of employment law.
