We began in 2002, when our family owners purchased a cosmetology school in Lebanon, Tennessee. The school had 15 students and one course.
Today, Genesis Career College has over 500 students enrolled in mostly small-town campuses across the southeast. And instead of one program, we offer nine, including entry careers in healthcare and beauty & wellness.
At GCC, our mission is to attract qualified students, instruct them with quality education and training and prepare them for career occupations in their respective fields. We place “respect for the rights of the individual” at the forefront of our philosophy. We strive to provide a work environment which allows for enhancement of our service to our employees, our students and our patrons
Almost all of our occupations require licensing by the state, and we prepare you – in a year or less – to be qualified and ready to take state exams. Plus, when possible, we enhance classroom and hands-on training with real-world experience and externships that help students become more desirable to potential employers and to excel.
