We began in 2002, when our family owners purchased a cosmetology school in Lebanon, Tennessee. The school had 15 students and one course.
Today, Genesis Career College has over 500 students enrolled in mostly small-town campuses across the southeast. And instead of one program, we offer nine, including entry careers in healthcare and beauty & wellness.

Almost all of our occupations require licensing by the state, and we prepare you – in a year or less – to be qualified and ready to take state exams. Our Esthiology program prepares you for a future as a skin care specialist. The training utilizes our trademark AVEDA pure flower and plant essences and wellness rituals. Every graduate will be trained in facials, waxing, makeup application, business development, wellness and retail knowledge.
The curriculum is curated to prepared graduates for the California licensing exam and to develop the talent needed to secure a career in Esthetics or a related field.
Our esthetician school requires the satisfactory completion of 750 hours of training. This will entitle you to take the Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology Examination for the Tennessee Esthetics License.
