The Esthetician course consists of 20 credits of instruction of both theoretical and practical skill development required for licensure by the Department of Regulatory Agencies. Theory and practice precede laboratory activities and students must complete the theory and practical for each exercise in the Basic Freshman curriculum and receive a passing grade on each exercise before being allowed to participate in laboratory activities.
Theory and practice are integrated throughout the course. The Office of Barber and Cosmetologist Licensing/designated testing agency conducts all examinations in English and applicants shall submit answers in English. All education and learning environments in our school are conducted in English, to include classroom activity and clinic floor education.

To provide the student with the skills, information and training through thorough and reliable theoretical and practical instruction to successfully complete the program and pass the licensure required by the Department of Regulatory Agencies and to educate the student in developing professional attitudes and habits necessary for initial employment and career advancement.

Many Stacey James instructors have built successful careers and currently still maintain an active clientele. Their goal is to pass their knowledge of the industry on to you, and to give you the tools to succeed in the ever changing beauty world.
Students learn about school rules and regulations, history of Esthetics and the role of the Esthetician, code of ethics and the New York State law, rules and regulations.
Laveda Lash & Brow Boutique offers Esthetician courses.The Registration fee is not refundable. Length of course duration will vary in accordance to the number of hours the student is scheduled to attend on a weekly basis as stated on the enrollment agreement.
Esthetics is the science of skincare. Estheticians are licensed professionals who do facials, waxing, massages, and more! To become a licensed esthetician you’ll need to complete the required training hours and state exams.
All of G Skin & Beauty Institute students learn hands-on and practice in a supervised spa from our Advanced Esthetics staff which includes our Physician Medical Director.
