Includes instruction in skin anatomy, physiology, and health; principles of nutrition; decontamination and infection control; health and safety; facial and facial massage, electricity and facial machines methods of hair removal make up, advance topics and treatments client consultation and care; and scope of practice and regulatory rules.

We have several spacious classrooms, lockers and locker rooms, an elegant senior cosmetology and barber styling clinics where hair, skin and nail services are performed by supervised students. Off street parking is available and BCI is located 1/2 block from the Brookland Metro Station (Red Line).
The Esthetician program consists of theory and practical training in the arts and sciences of facials, make-up applications, body treatments, hair removal, retailing, equipment care, business management, etc.
Esthetician course is offered by New York Institute of Beauty. At New York Institute of Beauty our New York State-approved courses in Esthetics (Skin Care & Makeup), Nail Specialty and Waxing are taught by Licensed professionals.
