Safeguarding at Oxfordshire Mind
Oxfordshire Mind is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.
Service-user involvement at Oxfordshire Mind
At Oxfordshire Mind we are committed to involving people with lived experience of mental health problems in every aspect of our work; for us, this starts with the recruitment process. On each interview panel, there will be two Oxfordshire Mind employees and one person with a lived experience of mental health problems.
The course will improve your vocal skills and help you to use your voice more effectively. Through a variety of vocal and physical exercises you will develop your ability to communicate more successfully, use your voice with assurance and to command vocal respect.
Understand the advantages of behaving assertively and the consequences of other types of behaviours
The workshop is designed for managers, supervisors, team leaders and team members who would benefit from further developing assertiveness skills to raise their profile and bring about results in a professional manner.
We will take the session at your pace, I will never push you to open up more than you feel comfortable to do so. The sessions are for your development.
This session is right for you if you want to develop confidence, self-esteem and positivity to start moving forward both at work and at home.
