The English Island was started out of frustration. I have been an English teacher since 1999. Throughout my career, I worked at a myriad of schools, universities, large companies, and small companies.
I realized that none of the schools or companies I worked for ever truly took care of people the way they should have or the way they claimed they would. There was always a disconnect between the business.
Side and academic side of each place. The places I worked for spent more time worrying about making their next dollar instead of making sure that their students were getting what they needed.
English skill level students want to have when they leave, and the speed at which they progress through the program. Students who successfully achieve IAE’s learning objectives are entitled to receive a “Certificate of Participation” when they leave IAE.
Our core ESL program covers fluency and comprehension of listening, word structure, word usage, reading, vocabulary, writing and speaking.
All our programs aim at developing the four skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. We also take into account students’ particular needs and adapt the lessons to ensure these needs are fulfilled.
Our TOEFL program is an intensive course that reviews the structure of the test, all four skill areas (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), and useful techniques to help you achieve your desired score.
English language class is offered by World Language Schools.This course is for kitchen staff, servers, busboys, hostess, bartenders, managers.
