Farsi is a Category III language. It takes on average 48 weeks of full-time training to reach a limited working proficiency (ILR level 2). The exact time needed will depend on many factors, including a person’s language learning ability, intensity of instruction, and prior experience in learning a foreign language.

The Department of Linguistic Asian/Middle Eastern Languages offers courses in Persian language and culture.
At WAL, students can expect to focus on using the language for practical everyday use. In addition, cultural information will be offered as part of the instruction.
ILI’s foreign language courses are tailored to suit the student’s specific needs and goals. We offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced class levels in each language. However, our instructors do not follow a fixed curriculum for each class.
Persian today includes Farsi, Dari and Tajiki dialects and is spoken by more than 100 million people in Iran, Tajikistan, parts of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.Â
Persian Language course is offered by LTC Language Solutions.
