Course content

On this course, you will learn how to sew using industrial machinery and industry methods.

You will learn through demonstration, practice samples and making several samples of techniques and methods and learn how to handle a wide range of fabrics moving towards garment making and accessories.

All of your work will be presented in a presentation of file of which along with your written information and notes on the techniques you have learnt.

This course has additional English lessons to support the development of the English language and learn specific terms and language related to the specialism.

  • Different markets for fashion

 

Qualifications on completion

  • Certificate in Fashion and Textiles

 

Entry requirements

  • You do not need any prior experience but a commitment to study. Your English level should be a minimum of Entry Level 2.

 

Progression

  • You could progress to a Level 2 Fashion course or a Level 1 in Tailoring.
