Figure Drawing

The artist’s most difficult task is to convey the moment in motion, so when it comes to human figures, we need to understand basic human anatomy and structure.

If you have taken figure drawing classes before, this workshop will not be a repeat, it is designed to strengthen students’ ability to draw people at your level.

You will learn:

• Anatomy and structure of relative bone and muscles positions
• Hands and feet in relation to different parts of the body
• How to capture the body movement
• Students get to practice their understanding of the human figure in various gestures, perspectives, lighting, and attire
• Drawing from live models in various static positions as well as during movement
