At FESS Fires Protection, we offer various fire safety and equipment training class options for employers, employees, and fire safety professionals.
Fire Extinguisher User training is offered by Environmental Health and Safety. Training requirements are determined by your occupation and exposure risks. Training may be offered online or as a live training session.
The West Metro Academy will provide you with every opportunity to succeed. The education, experience, and training you will receive in the academy will lay a solid foundation for your career as a firefighter at West Metro.
Your business is more than just a building. It encompasses employees, customers and guests, assets, hard work and purpose. Without code-compliant fire and life safety systems in place, precious lives or hard-earned assets can be lost within minutes.
The training begins with a 15-minute DVD which explains fire prevention, evacuation, the classes of fires, and the basic operation of a fire extinguisher. After the presentation, we review the types of fire extinguishers on site and the organization’s policy and procedures.Â
