• Personnel involved in planning and execution of emergency escape from buildings and any fire fighting required within the limits of their training.

• The practical aspects of this course require the candidate to have a reasonable level of fitness.

The Objectives Of The Course Are Enable Delegates To:

• Fire Marshall/Warden course is for area clearing and training in the safe use of fire extinguishers.

• This half day course enables your Fire Marshall/Warden to gain an understanding and knowledge of their role on how to undertake simple hazard spotting to prevent the outbreak of fire in the workplace.

• Simple fire hazard spotting

• Safe evacuation of facility/area clear

• Practical exercise (evacuation if possible)

• Fire extinguisher awareness

• Types of fire extinguisher and their application

• When to fight fire and when not to

• Practical demonstration

Training Method

• Highly participative with practical demonstrations highlighted by use of PowerPoint and Videos along with group and individual exercises.

Certification

• Theory and Practical resulting in certificate of competence. SCQF Level 5 Available.
