Current legislation requires employers to ensure that all staff receive basic fire safety training to understand their responsibilities for maintaining fire safety measures and to ensure their safety and the safety of others in the event of a fire occurring. Learners will gain a basic level of fire safety knowledge including recognising fire hazards, choosing and using the correct extinguishing media and following safe evacuation procedures.
The course follows the nationally accredited syllabus of the Fire Protection Association and satisfies the requirements of Article 21 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 with regard to fire safety training for all employees. Tailored to your Workplace Some workplace settings require additional consideration and training with regard to fire safety and safe evacuation.
