The course is designed primarily for preventing injuries to those involved in factory, office and construction settings.
Learners will gain a basic level of fire safety knowledge including recognising fire hazards, choosing and using the correct extinguishing media and following safe evacuation procedures.
Learners will gain the necessary knowledge of the role and responsibilities of a fire warden and will develop an understanding of the techniques to deploy in the workplace to prevent fires occurring and to carry out efficient evacuation procedures.
This qualification has been designed to provide a good, basic understanding of nutrition. This course is recommended for all employees in catering environments involved in the selection of menus, recipes and ingredients.
The Level 2 Awards in Food Safety provide a flexible syllabus which enables training to be tailored to meet specific needs.
