FAB training was formed in 2015.
One morning I woke up and decided to leave my high flying corporate job in marketing and do sometime completely different, something that could save lives.
In a previous life I had been giving First Aid courses mainly to scouts, that was a long long time ago, things had changed, dramatically.
I went back to school. I updated myself on the latest First Aid guidelines. I passed my education certification and with the support of friends, FAB was 'born'.
I now enjoy teaching people from all walks of life how they can make a difference in the lives of others.
I enjoy enjoy teaching individuals as much as I enjoy teaching larger groups. I also love to share the First Aid story with children.
My dream?
My biggest wish is that First aid will become a topic taught in every School. Can you imagine how many lives that will save in the future? And what a great skill and confidence to have as an individual.
What is Emergency First Aid? Well it’s exactly that, the first aid to be offered if an incident occurs. Not many of us are confronted with scenes of blood and gore in our everyday lives – so usually first aid could be as simple as sticking a plaster on a small cut.
This 3-day course provides learners with the skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in higher risk workplace environments, or workplaces with an increased number of employees.
This course will provide you with the basic skills, knowledge and information to act as a first-aider in the workplace. Participants will be able to act as an HSE Approved First Aider at Work.
