First Aid In The Workplace

In Quebec, the CNESST is responsible for the administration and application of laws and regulations governing occupational health and safety.

The Regulation respecting minimum standards for first aid and first aid requires that the employer of an establishment or the project manager of a construction site guarantee, on the workplace and during working hours, a minimum number of first aid workers, in addition to an effective first aid service.

Objective :

 Acquire the knowledge and skills required to respond to a medical emergency or work accident and to comply with companies' legal obligations regarding health and safety.

Issued by the CNESST, in partnership with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec – valid for 3 years
