This course is designed to introduce you to a variety of technical processes, design concepts, and tools essential for understanding and working with non-ferrous metals on a wearable scale.
Build fabrication skills and explore decorative and alternative surfaces, including roller-printing, etching, and depletion gilding.
The class offers complete instruction – we assist with the design process, fabrication process, choice of metals, different polishes such as a brushed finish, or hammered finish or high polish, and potential for having stones set in the ring (additional) if desired.
The Level I beginner’s session starts from square one. It is the starting place for both the complete novice as well as the student who already has some prior experience with assembly-based jewelry design (plier/wire work, beading, cold-linking).
