It is ideal for those with little or no experience and are looking take their first steps into the floristry industry to improve your chances of finding work, trying a potential new career, or developing a new skill.

 

What will I Study?

Located in our on-site commercial florist, The Flower Studio, you will gain a thorough understanding of the various aspects of Floristry.

 

  • The following areas will be covered:
    • Plan, prepare and construct tied floristry designs
    • Plan, prepare and construct arrangements
  • You will also touch on the following:
    • Introduction to art and design - learning colour harmonies and design principles
    • Identify, and learn the conditioning of incoming cut flowers and foliager
