The subjects covered in this course are based on: temperature control, safe cleaning and storage of produce, cleaning and sanitation of equipment, premises and personal hygiene, and risk assessing of our kitchen environment. Upon completion of the course, delegates will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge in their place of work, to prevent bacteria and contamination-related incidents.

Assessment
The Food Safety Awareness training course will be delivered over 3 hours, followed by a quick test, after which successful delegates will be rewarded with a certificate.

The Level 2 Award in Principles of HACCP is designed for those working or preparing to work in food businesses where a food safety management system based on Codex HACCP principles is implemented.
This course is for managers, supervisors, auditors or anyone else responsible for the Food Safety System within the organisation. Delegates should have a good understanding of food hygiene and maybe even the intermediate level.
The Food Allergen in Catering Course is recommended for everyone working in the catering industry, (restaurants, take aways, coffee shops, etc). The full name of this qualification is Level 2 Award in Food Allergen Awareness and Control in Catering.
