NSW Government is encouraging former hospitality staff to return to the industry by offering free refresher training courses to those with an RSA competency card that expired since 1 February 2020 or will expire before 30 June 2022. Centre for Training is not able to confirm if you are eligible.
This course is designed to provide you with the skills involved in food handling and a practical approach to hygiene principles and practices. Food handlers require those skills to comply with the requirements contained within the Australia/New Zealand Food Standards (ANZFS) Code.
The Food Safety Supervisor course will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for handling food safely throughout the food preparation cycle. This includes safe storage of food, along with preparation, display, serving, and food disposal.
