In the food workplaces of today, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) has become a major factor in adhering the standards set out by the FSA. Whoever is made responsible for HACCP in their workplace must be trained in the subject.
This course will start by covering some of the key terms you will need to understand before moving on to identifying critical control points and analysing some of the key hazards. It’ll show you how to determine control points and how to avoid cross-contamination in the food chain.
These new qualifications are required to address the new occupational standards reflecting sector-specific needs. In line with this demand the CIEH level 2 awards in Food safety have been designed to address the food safety needs of catering, manufacturing and retail sectors.
Level 2 HACCP starts the journey in understanding how this food safety management system works and understanding the principles of HACCP as defined by Codex.
