To gain the regulated Highfield Award in Food Safety Level 2 qualification you will be required to sit a remotely invigilated exam.
This course is ideal for those who work in a catering environment. This may include restaurants, cafes, hotels, bars, fast-food outlets, takeaways, mobile food trucks, kitchens, hospitals, schools and colleges.

The new Level 1 Awards in Food Safety are run as half-day courses, suitable for a variety of candidates, including new employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge, employees handling low-risk or wrapped food or those who work front of house.
In practice, this means that food handlers working in a variety of catering or retail outlets must be trained to level 2 in food safety/hygiene. Level 2 food safety training is the equivalent of the old basic food hygiene certificate.
This training course aims to give trainees knowledge and understanding in food safety and allows trainees to view realistic scenes and be tested on their knowledge retention.
