Objectives:

Entry Requirements:
Must be minimum 18 years of age and have photo I.D. that includes name, signature and date of birth & secondary ID.
Validity of Forklift Licence:
Licenses are valid for 5 years in Victoria. You will be required to renew it after this time or will need to retake the test.
The course is delivered across all TDT Sites (Hallam, Bendigo, Sale, Sunshine and Ballarat)
Course Content:
Theory & Practical Training within our warehouse, WorkSafe assessment on completion of course.
Theory:
A Forklift Course learner guide is provided upon booking which must be read in order to successfully complete the written theory and calculations assessments.
*Verbal test available at an extra cost
Practical:
Pre-Operational checks of forklift and working area, negotiating hazards, shifting loads, placing loads in and out of racking, loading & unloading trucks and shut down procedures.
Resources:
Gas & Electric powered, automatic counterbalance forklifts. Reach Truck also available.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate a truck or trailer mounted attenuator when carrying out traffic management activities in civil construction.
Licence to operate a non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity) course is offered by SWQ Training Pty Ltd.
The course is aimed at all workers carrying out construction work, including: self-employed persons, labourers, apprentices, trades-persons, supervisors and project managers.
