Course Details

The Formation à l’enseignement (BEd) program in Windsor allows a dynamic career while enabling you to participate in the enrichment of the Francophone community in Southern Ontario. It responds to the critical need for teachers in the region's Francophone schools.  

The program is offered to individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and who wish to teach Kindergarten to Grade 10. Before you apply, choose which division you wish to teach in. 

Divisions

Primary/Junior (P/J): K to grade 6

Primary/Junior (P/J): K to grade 6 allows you to apply teaching and learning methods to the full range of subjects: French, mathematics, social studies, science, art, health, and physical education to teach Kindergarten to Grade 6 in Ontario's French-language schools.

Junior/Intermediate(J/I): Grades 4 to 10

  • The Junior/Intermediate division allows you to teach grades 4 to 10 in elementary or secondary school. You must choose an academic option from the following subjects: French as a first language, General Science and Mathematics.
