Little Groovers is a fun, energetic class designed to expand children's knowledge of dance. The class starts with a warm up of dance games to get the blood pumping, we learn a dance routine over 2-3 weeks in a number of dance styles such as Freestyle, Hip Hop, Stage and Jazz so you're welcome to join at any point during the term.
We will also cover basic movement skills like cartwheels, jumps and lifts and children can get creative by coming up with their own moves and putting a dance together.
My name is Jasmine Tui Paine and I'm the principal teacher here at the Jasmine Tui School of Dance, thanks for taking the time to look at my website.
I started my ballet training at the age of 11 at the Affleck Academy of Dancing where I remained for 15 years, during this time I studied classical ballet up to Intermediate level before embarking on my teacher training.
In 2003 I graduated from Northumbria University with a BA Honors degree in Performance and finally gained my IDTA Associate dance teaching qualification in 2006.
For the next few years I had a number of jobs including working as a youth worker for a local charity but continued to teach dance at weekends until eventually, in 2008 I established the Jasmine Tui School of Dance in Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne. In just over 13 years we have grown in to a vibrant, popular dance school in the heart of Gosforth.
This is a modern dance style which originated in the 1970’s. It is a free moving and fun dance which is great exercise! It is energetic and performed to modern pop music.

Freestyle Disco is a very fast paced energetic style of dance, performed to fast paced pop and dance music.
Beginner's Freestyle Disco classes are offered by Eve Trew School of Dance. We provide a safe and friendly environment for your children.
Freestyle is a popular form of dance in the UK today. It involves runs, spins, kicks and leaps, as well as many other diverse steps and movements with lots of arm and hand actions.
