Newcastle Dance Centre

We are a dance and performing arts academy that offers quality teaching programs to suit all levels and ages. The Dance Centre was established in 1931 and today is still a thriving family business leading the way in Dance and Performing Arts.

We take great pride in our ‘family’ feel and sense of community, and refer to ourselves as the ‘NDC Family’.  We focus specifically on the well-being of our pupils, both physically and mentally and our pastoral care is of the highest standard.  Our aim is for every pupil to reach their true potential, surrounded by positivity and creativity!

So, whether you are a beginner, an accomplished professional or just seeking extra enjoyment or exercise from dance, Newcastle Dance Centre is ready to welcome you.  Pupils can enrol from three years old up to adults of all ages and abilities. 

Our team has vast experience in teaching beginners,  experienced dancers, professional performers and training for professional teaching qualifications.  We have great success in training dancers to enter the world of dance and gain places at their chosen dance colleges or universities.

Lessons are available from our team of highly qualified and motivated dance teachers, as well as our Principals Michael Conway, Mavis Whiteside and Hayley Conway.
