This class continues on from Term 2, Level 1. New students to these classes must have at least 20 hours of prior learning of the language and will also need to contact WEA Illawarra on 4226 1622 prior to enrolling to ensure that they are eligible to join the Term 2 class.

We have been operating since 1913 and are pleased to continue to provide you and the Illawarra community quality adult education to enhance your leisure time and career. There are leisure skills courses, work skills courses, accredited training and foundation skills on offer.
We hope you will come and learn French with us. We are a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization offering adult classes for those interested in learning French and promoting French culture. As an adult education provider, we aim to make learning French fun and enjoyable.
This course aims to develop basic skills in understanding and communicating in French by introducing a range of basic vocabulary, grammar and sentence patterns. A supportive and interactive approach is used to encourage the development of conversational skills and a gradual increase in the active.
French classes are offered from beginners to advanced level.
The Year 9 and Year 10 courses are structured to meet the needs of every student in a blended learning environment. Each student will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of diverse activities and interactive tasks.
Our teachers are native speakers, brilliant Educators and are amazing at connecting with and inspiring their students. Children must be either fluent in basic French or have already done 5 years+ learning conversational French.
