Level A1 Objectives:
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
Can introduce yourself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where someone lives, people they know, and things they have.
Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

This course aims to develop basic skills in understanding and communicating in French by introducing a range of basic vocabulary, grammar and sentence patterns. A supportive and interactive approach is used to encourage the development of conversational skills and a gradual increase in the active.
The focus of this course is to master the basics and it has been devised to offer the maximum exposure to the French language and culture.
In standards and content, courses are comparable to those offered in day school language classes and follow a standard course design. Our face-to-face classes for students in Prep-12 are held out of school hours in metropolitan and country/regional Centres of the VSL.
