A little bit of who is behind Lex's Vegan Kitchen. I am Lex Lagrotteria. I grew up in an Italian family so time spent with my nonna (granny) was time cooking.
Time spent with my aunt was time cooking. In the italian culture this is how we show love ... by making those around us really great food. Yes we are going to feed you and you can't stop us LOL .
We cannot rest until we know those in our homes including strangers coming into our homes have full bellies and have had a great experience with the meal they have just eaten and feel nourished and loved.
Of course I am now vegan for over 5 years but the Italian ethic of feeding others is what drives my business. Food is love !! and this is what I bring to my business and would love to share with you and your family
In the Motherdough U pasta course we will make an egg pasta, and a sourdough pasta dough using Motherdough discard. We will use these doughs to produce tagliatelle, pappardelle, and stuffed cappelletti.
All the necessary ingredients and materials will be provided as well as recipes. You will enjoy the meal you have prepared either taking it home or during a lovely, friendly dinner also with spouses/ partners.
