Course Details

This course explains the basic tools needed to create a website, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It also discusses source control using Git and its workflow, as well as basic concepts related to designing a site for user experience (UX), including accessibility concerns.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Use Git to pull files down from a remote repository to their local machine where they will add and commit any changes then push those updated files back to the remote repository.
  • Use wireframing tools to convey design concepts to a client.
  • Use HTML to create an accessible document structure for a Web page and website.
  • Use CSS to add accessible formatting to a Web page and website.
  • Use JavaScript and other tools to add accessible interactivity (or an alternative) to a Web page and website.
