The food safety certification scheme FSSC 22000 (also known as FS22000) defines in great detail how to implement food safety measures (such as hygiene or pest control) as prerequisite programs. This approach is taken in addition to the systematic management approach of a management system standard such as ISO 22000.

FSSC 22000 is approved by the GFSI to provide a common set of requirements for your food safety management system. Your understanding of FSSC 22000, both as an auditee and as an auditor, will strengthen your system and its processes to assure food safety.

 

With Intertek's 3 Day FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor Course, you'll be able to:

  • Understand and apply the requirements of ISO 22000:2005
  • Understand and apply the requirements of Prerequisite Programs through PAS 220:2008
  • Understand and apply the requirements of FSSC
