On this course learners will study the following:
Key employability skills
Health and safety knowledge required to work in general operative trades in the industry
Practice test experience to enable learners to confidently sit the CSCS test.
Assessment method
In completing this course you will be booked for the one-day site safety and CSCS general operative test, results are immediate and if successful cards take approximately four to six weeks to arrive. Learners will also receive a certificate to show they have passed this qualification.
Eligibility
This course is free for individuals aged 19 or over (before the 31st July 2018) and in receipt of Universal Credit, JSA, Income Support or ESA and anyone earning less than £15,700 per annum. Individuals must provide three wage slips to evidence this.
